Dark woods and natural colors embody the ambience of the resort's Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, located just off the glass-domed pool area. This 23,000-square-foot (2,136-square-meter) retreat features 23 treatment rooms, including a couple's deluxe suite complete with in-room Jacuzzi, fireplace, and shower. I have been for many massages at many different spas - including some of the best ones in NYC - and I have to say that my massage at this spa ranks among the best. Facilities were very clean, staff was accomodating, informative and nice. Price was a little high but its to be expected at a name brand spa in a casino. Will return.

I love Elizabeth Arden Spas. On this trip I visited the Spa located in the Harrah's Resort, the atmosphere was pleasing as usual. They had a sauna, steam room and a whirlpool within the Spa itself, but the pool was located outside the doors of the spa in the hotel itself. This aspect was a little inconvenient and there were no fitness facilities that I could see (that's why I only gave it 1 star). What they lacked in the fitness areas they made up for in the beauty department. They have hair dresser and make-up specialists to make you look your best. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable able their products. They were also very accommodating to my needs.

I came here with three girl friends to spend the day getting massages and facials.We must have spent a total of 5 hours just laying around reading in the relaxation room,drinking tea and hanging out in the hot tub and sauna.It was a really nice day.I recommend this spa to anyone visiting Atlantic city!

I had originally booked a facial at Red Door on my first visit and had a wonderful experience so this time I wanted to try a swedish massage. And I must say that once again Red Door lived up to its expectations.
The spa itself is amazing....warm soothing color scheme set you at ease....large locker facilities so you don't feel cramped....if I have anything to pick on at all is that the men's steam room is a tad bit too hot.....and the shower next to the steam room which offers different kinds of water treatments was out of order but nevertheless these things are minor and can be fixed.
The massage itself was wonderful and relaxing with my therapist Darius asking me which types of oils he had available and the benefits of each...the only bad thing was that I wish I had booked a longer massage!
I will definitely be back....this was a real treat and I was happy to see that it lived up to the previous visit!

Visited this spa for my birthday. Usually have an 8o swedish but decided to have a 50 min because of time. The facilities were nice but not fabulous. Only had a large hot tub that was not very hot and not much jets. Asked to increase it and the attendant said that's all they could do.
My masseuse was Kim. said she had 20 years experience. she acted like she had been at the job for 40 years. very disinterested about me. usually when I have a treatment, the masseuse asks me how I am, what areas they should concentrate on, any strained muscles, how is their pressure. Items that show you that they care. Kim did not ask me anything. Told me just to get ready and she would be back. I had to ask her if she wanted to know what I was there for. The massage itself was adequate, nothng special. I was not dissappointed, just left feeling blah. not what I was expecting out of Red Door. I have been there before and had a great massage so I think it was just this one masseuse.

From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. My 80 minute treatment left me feeling great. The massage therapist used the perfect amount of pressure.
The facility had some quirks. The lockers were very tall and the hangers were well above my head. There were no shelves in the lockers which caused me to stretch a little more than I would have expected.

This was my first time at Red Door in Atlantic City and I must say it won't be my last. The front desk was extremely helpful in every respect. I was there for a signature facial and it was amazing. My facial therapist was named Cyndi and she was professional and explained everything along the way. I would definitely recommend her!
The spa itself is modern, relaxing and warm. They have separate men's and women's areas as well as a coed area.....You can stay as long as you like while they're open......and use the facilities....Overall one of the best if not the best spa in Atlantic City! Definitely don't pass this one up

This is my first time at the Red Door in AC. I have to say I really enjoyed myself. The only downside to the spa is the small locker room area. I don't know if it was just that day or every day but it was packed full of people all changing clothes at the same time. I felt a bit claustrophobic. When I was done changing into my robe I had to ask the staff where I should wait for my wrap. I felt they staff should have showed me around with out me having to ask. Other than those two issues the service was great. I enjoyed my wrap and felt great afterwards.

I love this spa and have been there several times for massages. The facilities are great and all the ladies/men working in there are wonderful when you are in the spa. Calling on the otherhand, has proved otherwise. I initially could not find this spa on spafinders.com and let the person on the phone know that b/c I thought it would be of interest but it seemed that it wasn't. I had to call 4 times to finally get an appointment...I only persisted because I had other ladies in my party looking forward to a massage. When you call if it's a long wait you are given the option of leaving a message with your info and told someone will get back to. I did that twice and no one called me back. I found that to be such a snub!

They couldn't find our reservations at first. Some sort of glitch in their system. Had to wait about half hour before they could figure it out. But once I got in, it was all good. Staff was friendly. My therapist was really good. Will come back for another massage. I had the Swedish massage but will try their Signature Massage next time.

My friend and I decided to try our first spa day at the Red Door. Upon arrival we were escorted to the locker room and given our robes and slippers. The locker room was nice, just a little narrow which made it hard to walk through when busy. Our massages were great! My friend had Darius, and she said he was wonderful. Word around the spa is he one of the best. We next had facials which were also great. I had a warm cream manicure which wasn't good at all. The girl shaped my nails crooked and then she escorted me to the sauna to sit in for my nails to dry. They didn't have any nail drying stations. Last was makeup touch up which was scheduled right after our nails. The lady was nice enough to delay our makeup while we went to take showers. Of course I ruined my nails in the shower because they didn't dry properly.
We will definitely go back for massages and facials, but we'll skip the nails.

Red Door Spa at Harrah's is a great place to relax. I love the fireplace right by the jacuzzi. The steamroom and sauna are great also. The whole facility is really large and the access to the pool is an extra perk for being the spa client. The personnel from the receptionist thru the spa attendants are super friendly and very helpful. The quality of the services is great as well as the products used. I would definitely recommend this spa to everyone.

The service was wonderful from the moment my husband and I arrived. They did a fabulous job of reshaping a terrible haircut. Kudos to his stylist!! I had a warm cream manicure and signature pedicure. It was the best pedicure I've ever had. Contributing to my relaxation, was an included foot massage, their heated herbal neck pillow, and a drink of delightful cucumber water. I left feeling stylish, refreshed and relaxed!

I was wowed from begining to end. The robes were comforty and the employees were so attentive. They checked on me several times to make sure I was "comfortable" and "in need" of anything. The enviroment was peaceful and beauitful (try the steam room). Facilty was very clean. My massage therapist had many years of experience and it showed. She was pleasant and made my Signature Stress Melter Ritual amazing. It was worth every penny. And as I'm writing this review I only wish I could be going back very soon......

There was nothing that set the ambiance of this spa apart from any other. It was rather bland in fact. The staff at the front desk was bland at best. I was booked for a Signature Manicure and Pedicure. The nail tech was very aloof which I would not have minded except the manicure and pedicure were terrible. I have had better for $35.00 at a walk in nail salon. I paid for "signature" treatments which were nothing more than an uneven nail filing, foot soak, paraffin wax, lotion application (which should have been a pressure point massage as per the menu) and polish application which started chipping the same day. The spa was not terribly clean and there was rust around the trim of the water feature by the hot tub. It truly bothers me that a "service charge" of 20% was added to my bill as a tip. I think I should be able to decide what the tip should be based on the services rendered. Overall highly disappointed and disgusted that I paid what I did for an awful manicure and pedicure.

The Red Door at Harrah's is a nice change to gambling. The relaxation room is small. The whirlpool is inviting in front of the fireplace, but very small if more than 3 patrons are using. The whole are looks cluttered. The day I booked the temp of the pool was also too cold. Thermostat not working. THe staff did offer me a chance to come back another day, but I had the "spa-day" now. I would return if I had a special deal, otherwise, too expensive for the quality.

I bought a package which included the signature massage, pedicure and manicure.
The massage was plain bad, my boyfriend who complains that he doesn't want to rub my back did a better job, not kidding. And it was only 50 mins. not the hour it was supposed to be.
As my nails were drying, I noticed that the girl (yes girl just about 18) did not cover my entire nails, the sides were exposed without polish. So she touched them up, then there were bubbles under two of my nails. The salon was closed at this point otherwise I would have had her do my nails all over. By the next day my index finger was already peeling.
I'm from NJ and I do stay at Harrahs from time to time but unfortunately I will never use their salon again.

The Worst "Spa" Ever -- For someone who went 3 timesBy SandiD | December 13, 2009
I'm a Jersey Native who has a home in both NJ and CO.
When I'm in NJ, I like to say at Harrah's, home of the Red Door Spa.
Just happened that I was here often this year, and had 3 experience with the Red Door.
1st one was plain aggrevation. Book a wrap and massage, and was told I had to have the wrap first, which is ridiculous. Every spa does wraps last, so you can enjoy the moisture sinking in your skin, not have it rubbed off.
They actually argued with me. I ended up saying "forgetaboutit" to the massage, and was promptly billed for the wrong wrap.
Either way, at $200, for the wost wrap is just WRONG.
2nd time, they didn't have heat or hot water -- but was still willing to take my money -- for what? Freezing, and having someone who didn't wash their hands with hot water touch me. No thank you.
3rd was a 20 yr old child who, although wasn't bad, wasn't good either -- not worth $130 + 20% Gratuity, plus 7% tax, coming to $170 for 50 minutes.
Oh, that's riight, forgot to mention it's only 50 minutes.
Not worth it
Go to Borgota on a weekday where it's $90 much better experience

It is a pricier but worth every penny. Their signature message is unique in their technique, which make it worth it. The front desk staff is what's keeping me from giving it a 5 star because they seemed a lil snooty. Otherwise, the spa is really nice with complete amenities. Sauna, jacuzzi, relaxing area, full body spray showers, clean lockers, and very soft fluffy robe. It was worth every penny.

I was shocked at the amount of money I paid for services that were preformed by young adults who did not live up to the Elizabeth Arden name. When you walk in the salon and spa are beautiful. The problem is the young adults that are running it or preforming the services. If they weren't yelling across the room to each other, talking about inappropriate topics or their trucker mouths then they were preforming serves that they didn't know the first thing about.

I was really blown away at this spa..it was very unexpected. It's so pretty and quiet - what a great get away from the noisy casino floor. The massage was a little expensive, but worth every penny.
