Accista Spa's aesthetic celebrates Monterey's changing seasons, colors, and natural landscape, as does its spa menu, offering guests regionally inspired services that incorporate indigenous ingredients from the sea, mountains, and lush surroundings and vary seasonally. Spa-goers can relax with soothing signature therapies such as the Seasonal Scrub, Wrap, and Soak, a trio of treatments that blend extracts including acorn flour, Pacific sea salt, and California poppy, as well as a variety of facial and massage services.
Interiors are designed to connect exteriors and interiors by combining metal, wood, stone, and glass. Expansive windows allow natural light to permeate the 12,000-square-foot complex, which has a full-service salon and 10 treatment rooms, including four couple's suites with fireplaces, side-by-side massage tables, and relaxation areas; one includes a soaking tub. Separate men's and women's locker rooms come equipped with sauna and steam rooms.
